Soon, I’m going to test a MIDI-to-serial adapter (the same one as in your second link) connected to an ESP32, probably running a Zimodem firmware that I’ll adapt to encapsulate data inside "fake" MIDI events in the ESP32 -> Micro-8 direction.
For the Micro-8 -> ESP32 direction, it seems that we can send whatever we want using midiSend().
